PREACHING & TEACHING FOR
ENLIGHTENMENT AND INSTRUCTION
The Teachings of Paul &
Eve
Eve is truly
a teacher. She studies the Word constantly. She always has.
She is actually a preacher, but her teachings greatly anointed.
Wisdom vs.
Foolishness
Prayer:
Father, God in the name of Jesus our Savior, I pray for every person
under the sound of my voice that hears this message. Lord
Jesus, put your holy hand upon each man, woman, boy or girl and draw
them by your Holy Spirit convicting them of their disobedience,
failures and sins. Forgive them, Lord, wash them with your
Holy blood from all sin, perform a mighty miracle of deliverance
setting them free and show them how real you are and how much you
love them. Touch them with peace and joy. In Your
blessed holy name. Amen
Let's look
into the Word:
Matthew 25:1-12 (King James
Version)
1Then
shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins,
which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the
bridegroom.
2And
five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3They
that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with
them:
4But the
wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5While
the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6And
at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom
cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Then
all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8And
the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for
our lamps are gone out.
9But
the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not
enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that
sell, and buy for yourselves.
10And
while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they
that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and
the door was shut.
11Afterward
came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to
us.
12But
he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you
not.
All ten
virgins were told the bridegroom was coming. The five
who's lamps were full, who were ready and expecting, went
out to meet Him. The foolish, who were without were
shut out. He said He never knew them. They
waited in vain.
Oil
represents the Holy Spirit. When they went to purchase
the oil they should have had; the bridegroom came.
Only those who were ready went in.
Luke 4:
16-30 tells of Jesus returning to Nazareth where He grew up.
Even though this miracle man performed miracles wherever He
went across the Holy land those in Nazareth were not ready
for miracles. Even though He had grown up in their
midst, they knew Him not. He came to them - but there
were no miracles - because they did not know Him for who He
was. They were not expecting anything and they didn't
get anything.
If you
do not expect a miracle, if you do not believe Jesus is the
same yesterday, today and forever, you will see nothing.
If you do not believe in miracles, or if you say Jesus came,
we celebrate Him at Christmas, we pray our way, we believe
our way, we've never seen miracles, we don't believe in
them- they are for people who don't know any better - we
know He died on a cross and He rose on Easter, but that is
enough for us - then listen before it is too late.
Jesus
walked on that third day and talked to the men on the road
to Emmaus and they said their hearts burned within
themselves.
Jesus
visited with the Apostles in the closed room. How did
He get through that wall? He cam miraculously in His
glorified body. He told Thomas to put his hand in His side
to see that it was truly Him.
Jesus
ate with them in that glorified body we will have. He
taught all about the Holy Ghost. He reminded them in
Acts 1 and told them to expect the Holy Ghost. He told
them to wait and to be ready fo9r His coming. He spoke
for forty days of things pertaining to the Kingdom.
He
commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but wait for
the promise of the father. He said John truly baptized
with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
You shall
receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall
be witnesses of Me.
After He
said these things they beheld Him taken up and a cloud received Him
out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward
Heaven, as He went up, two men - two Angels appeared and spoke to
them.
Acts 1:10-11 (King James
Version)
10And
while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went
up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11Which
also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up
into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you
into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have
seen him go into heaven.
God's people must open their hearts
and believe that God is a miracle worker. If you do, you
will see His miracles in your midst.
In Acts 3, a man crippled since
birth sat every day at the beautiful gate unable to go in.
Hi only expectation was for a handout. When Peter and John
came up, He asked them for money. These two men had
something he had never seen, but his heart was right. The
two men had something better than money.
Acts 3:1-9 (King James Version)
1Now
Peter and John went up together into the temple at
the hour of
prayer, being the ninth
hour.
2And
a certain man lame from his mother's womb was
carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the
temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of
them that entered into the temple;
3Who
seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple
asked an alms.
4And
Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said,
Look on us.
5And
he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive
something of them.
6Then
Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as
I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of
Nazareth rise up and walk.
7And
he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up:
and immediately his feet and ankle bones received
strength.
8And
he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with
them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and
praising God.
9And
all the people saw him walking and praising God:
When this man was touched he
felt the anointing power. He began to believe.
He began to expect as he felt that strength come into his
ankle bones. Unless you expect, unless you desire,
unless you believe what God's Word says is yours to have, it
will pass you by. That door will shut on you.
But when you are expecting your
miracle; believe, asking for your miracle. Ask with
all your heart. Let your God-given faith rise.
Believe in your heart. Reach out. Reach up to
Jesus. Ask Him, and then, take it. Take your
miracle. Take it just as you've taken the miracle of
eternal life. Discover the fullness of Jesus.
Discover the rest of Him. Discover His Power and His
miracles.

A
Revival to Remember
We found a church in Kissimmee. It was brand new. The pastor was
in the tile business and he had built the building himself. He’d
done a beautiful job.
He had a piano on
one side of the platform. An organ was on the other. He wanted us
to do a revival. He sent us with his wife, calling on all the
neighbors. We went from door to door, telling them of the
revival. We invited quite a few.
A weak looking woman
opened the door at one house we went to. She was a nurse who’d just
had surgery. A few minutes later her husband phoned, saying that
the doctor had called in a prescription for her to a certain drug
store. The Drug Store had a very unique name. I offered to go for
the prescription and she gave me the directions.
I found the place
with no problem, but the pharmacist insisted he had no prescription
in her name. I knew I was at the right place, because there could
not be another pharmacy with that unusual, unique name.
I had no choice but
to go back and tell her I had no medicine for her. We prayed for
her and went on to call on a lot of other people that day.
The revival was very
well attended and we had great services. Eve sang and we even
brought a young fellow with us from the mission, who sang for them.
People were saved.
There were all kinds of healings and people were baptized in the
Holy Spirit. I preached and invited a visiting minister to preach.
His wife came
forward with a need. She complained of stomach trouble. The Holy
Spirit moved on me and I told her, “If you get rid of that demon in
your ear your stomach will work fine.” I did not touch her
stomach. I wouldn’t have any way. I always have a woman touch a
woman and I touch the touching hand.
The third night the
pastor asked for testimonies. The woman we had prayed for in her
home stood up. She said it was her first opportunity to attend.
“These people came to my home to tell me about the revival. I had
just come home from having a hysterectomy. I am a nurse. I knew I
was not in a good condition at all. They prayed for me. I felt so
much better I went back to work on my scheduled evening shift, that
very same day. I’ve worked four nights without a problem, and I
give the glory to God.”
The minister’s wife
with the stomach trouble stood up. She said that when I commanded
the demon to leave her ear it felt like her ear was being reamed
out. She said her stomach quit hurting at that very moment.
If I had found the woman’s medicine, she could have given credit to
it for her recovery, but she had nothing to credit but the Lord.
The demon in the woman’s ear was tormenting her, causing her to hear
what she ought not be listening to. Her torment affected the
condition of her stomach. Getting rid of the demon, the root cause,
brought about the healing of her stomach.
He Felt Like A Roach
One Saturday morning a late model
Cadillac dropped off a well built man, dressed in cut off jeans and
a T-shirt. He was registered in and attended the Saturday night
service.
When I began to
preach, he stood up. “I went to church once when I was a kid, but
I’ve never seen anything so bizarre as this. You are talking about
healing. What I want to know is, can you pray for my soul to be
healed?”
I called him up to
the platform. “Your soul was healed two thousand years ago when
Jesus spread His arms on the Cross of Calvary. Yes, I’ll pray for
you.” Had there been a pail before him it seemed his tears would
have filled it. He truly gave his life to Christ.
When the service
ended, everyone rushed to eat. Eve remained, playing with the organ
keys. As I walked through the church, I passed this man looking at
a rack of tracts on the back wall of the church. As I passed him,
he said, “You knew all about me, didn’t you?” “I knew you needed to
be saved,” I said.
He whispered in my
ear, “I mean I’m gay.” I led him by the hand to the front row of
the church, calling to Eve as we went, “Tell him what’s wrong with
him.” Eve backed off. “No, go ahead and tell him,” I said.
The Holy Spirit came
over her, saying, “You’re a homosexual.” The Holy Spirit led her
further, “But that isn’t all. It’s not your real problem. Your
problem stems from your mother being injured while you were in her
womb.”
He remembered, “My
older sister has told me that my father hit my mother in the stomach
while she was carrying me.” I explained that a spirit of rejection
had entered him at that time, and led him into his lifetime of
problems.
He said he was
fifty-seven years old and had been a homosexual since he was seven.
“I’ve felt like a roach all my life with people always stepping on
me,” he said.
His throat turned
red and swelled up as we attacked that “strong man” and its horde of
demons. They resisted awhile but, as we persisted, they all came
out. |
